How is the batch optimizer different than using Northfield's standalone user interface? It sounds like it works with a database vs. flat files. Anything else? thanks

Softpak has done an excellent job at building a scalable application around Northfield's open optimizer. Yes, it works off of a database and has all the connectivity to address data flow issues.

By creating mutiple batches using the same portfolios, one can set various inputs and then view the results in a comprehensive report. Laughing
